Songpull 2

The Dallas Songpull #2 took Place at Mokah Coffee Bar in Deep Ellum. Deep Ellum is an entertainment and arts district east of Downtown Dallas. Four of the singers returned from songpull #1 and four of the singers were new to this songpull. Michelle Wallace, who was at the first songpull, brought along her sister and brother-n-law, Meredith and Nathan Jones to perform at Songpull #2. Mimo Morreale invited two of his friends to join in on the songpull, Daniel Pease and Danielle Fish. John Bailey also brought in two new people CeCe McClain and Marcus Roberts. Songpull has been catching on here in Dallas. As you can see the singers invited friends to join in the on fun. Mokah Coffee Bar was a great setting for a Songpull. While the Coffee Bar has delicious flavored coffees for every taste, the lounge area has swanky couches to relax in while watching the singers perform new original acoustic music. If you didn’t get there early enough to get a seat on the couches there were the church pews along the side walls which added to the ambience of the room. The performances by all of the singers were outstanding. The singers who were new to the songpull did a great job and the returning singers did even better than the first time. As the director, I definitely felt this Songpull was more organized. I felt like I knew what to do and when to do it. The music started on time, the interviews rolled smoothly. We did two interviews on stage the rest were done before the singers were on stage. I am looking forward to songpull #3.
