Overall the mood was one of much curiousity. Despite some technical issues with the house sound we had to bypass that and move forward. Crowd was very patient. I had a lot of last minute cancellations but was thankful that they took the time to contact me. A lot of excitement was anticipated up to this event and after the event many expressed they had no intentions of missing the next one. The Location was a bit awkward as I did anticipate being a Pool Hall. It's not just a pool hall though it does have a large stage and caters to live music weekly. The management was very pleased with the event and wishes to have a return event there. As a director I understand the extent I went to for this event was probably more than many would care to handle. But this is New England and if you expect some of the better players to come out and play there better be an audience. LOL. I actually don't mind it because I like the stage myself. There were some pretty funny moments and even the manager of the establishment had to get involved. See one of the Out Takes. He didn't play an instrument but he did sing. The fallout reaction I've gotton from the songwriters that did perform after seeing the videos was exstatic. They can't wait for the next one and have started writing already. I'm going to try and find a different location as this one was a bit distracting as far as the noise and recording elements.
