Songpull 7

You may be wondering, "How do you go from 18 performers to 4, from one month to another?" Springfield Songpull 6 had tons of performers and now there is hardly any?? Once again, with Songpull being so new and trying to push the envelope over and over...we put together our first un-announced Songpull. A few of us were hanging out downtown and just decided to head back to the house and have a Songpull. No one had a song. We got back to my house at about 7pm and started writing. At first, we all worked together on one song. We actually got it done, but had technical issues with the performance and didn't post it, but after working on that song for an hour or so, everyone split up to different parts of the house to start writing their own song. Elvis worked with Marla on his now smash hit "Meouch". Nickie and Lindsay performed as a duet, a great song called, "I've been thinkin". Because of this approach, we didn't really start performing songs until about midnight! But, once again, we challenged ourselves to do something even more outside the comfort zone, and we all felt like it was well worth it.
