Songpull 12
Located in Kansas City, MO. Directed by David Hakan
It had been a very cold and snowy December for Kansas City. This close to Christmas, there were songwriters who wanted to come, but had parties and families to attend to. We had 11 new songs and one re-write. Instead of our usual venue, we were welcomed to Main Street Coffeehouse for the December Songpull. It was really decorated for the season. Jim Herrman’s Santa hat completed the mood. Chris Barr gave us our first Songpull song on a banjo. The crowd was friendly and stayed most of the evening. We even had two Christmas songs from the song contest the week before.
