Each month seems to bring new things with it everytime for our Songpull group. This time, we heard Ty Beasley talk about the first song that she's ever written. It's a touching ballad about her cousin. She's been to many, many Songpulls and has finally taken the leap with this song, Miss You. Dan Fritz and Oran Thornton really went out there with a version of Johnny Q Public's, As I Pray, a song that neither Dan or Oran has performed live in close to 10 years. It's a really interesting place that our group is in right now, having come out of such a sucessful run of Songpulls over the last year and a half and then finding ways to dream it up all over again. Alot of our original pullers are either moved away, too busy, having kids, or just simply burnt out. Now, we find ourselves making new friends and finding new songs and reasons and colors. Kevin Ehlers and Chris Sexson have been to two Songpulls of ours now and we hope to see more of them and hear their story in the same way that ours have been told over the months.
