We had decided in November to attempt our first ever theme Songpull. What better theme than Christmas. So when December 2nd rolled around (first saturday of the month... which is standard for our group) we gave it a shot. From Trevor Thornton's accapella version of "The Christmas Blues" to a very heart felt and sung "Christmas for Cowards" by Eli Chambers, we got our Christmas spirit off to a great start! Other great standouts were Chelsea Bassham's, "Hot Toddy Kiss" and Andy Putnam's, "Santa Slide". All in all it was an exciting night for our Songpull and gave us just the inspiration we needed to crank out another Songpull in the middle of an already too busy season. None of us can figure out where the bath robe interviews came from...every Springfield Songpuller has regretted those interviews ever since. But, sometimes we have to do something a little different to shake it up a bit.
