Some of our regulars were back this time…and with two new songs. We had three new songwriters come and share 30 day songs. This may have been our best night for getting good interviews from a new question. We asked about a disaster they remembered from a gig. Enough of our members are playing out that we got some “whoppers�. We had some wild surprises as well. Jack Snaps walked away from the mic at the end of Walking Away. Rob Hinkal broke a string and switched guitars with Heather and finished the song. Rob and Heather were on their way back to Maryland from the South by Southwest Conference. Heather wrote postcards (to fans?) all evening to send out from KC. We have some of their old songs in the Outtakes section. We had twelve new songs and song circles all evening.
