On Friday, March 3rd at 7:00 PM the brain child of Dan Fritz was born. An idea Grandfathered by none other than Johnny Cash, Songpull captures the spirit of each writer and projects it back on every listener with each performance. Pioneered by the seven original Pullers: Dan Fritz, Trevor Thornton, Jason Gaylor, Mead Price, Oran Thornton, Matt Long and Andy Putnam, the night began with interviews...in the bathroom, of course. Later, the performances were then launched in the dining room of the Fritz's hundred year old colonial, surrounded by mirrors covered in song lyrics, it had a great spirit of history, music and new ideas.

It was a night that brought us the first performance of Mead's now famous "Ring on the Table" and Matt's "Guilty Conscience". We were also moved by the honesty and openness of Trevor's beautiful song "Free", Dan's "Fall Into Your Love" and Jason's "Life Does Change". And we all laughed along with Mead and Andy and even Oran as he sang what he claimed was his first song written by himself alone. The evening was voted by all present to be a complete success.
