About the Songwriter
My husband, Bruce, does these Songpulls every month, and I thought it looked like fun. I write songs now and then, but I can’t play an instrument. I didn’t want to ask Bruce to play for me, so I’m trying to learn the piano.

Jun 09, 2008WARNING: Listen at your own risk! Tricia's tunes are very catchy and infectious! :-) For weeks I had her song "Sabrina" playing in my head. But now it's "Lonely Nights", and I can relate to the lyrics. I feel for your old friend Mike.

Jun 26, 2008Holy Crap! Look at all these comments! What is this?...your 5th or 6th song? I've got to agree with everyone..."Life Happens" is still one that I love. I think it leaves people wanting to know more about how you come by it so naturally?? Your "about songwriter" section doesn't really touch on it. What are your influences, favorite artists, musical family?? etc.

Jun 26, 2008Sweet of you to ask! My father was a jazz musician. As a child he had us singing 4 Freshmen songs acapella. My brother Pete was in rock bands all growing up. I love to sing. I work in hair salons where music plays constantly. I like words and thinking up rhymes. My favorite bands are Heart, Kansas, Boston, Journey, Rush, Triumph, you know, all rock with good singing. :^)
Hopefully someday I can play an instrument and sing at the same time.

Tricia - you're awesome. There is so much passion on your songs - and THAT - my friend - is what matters
Please keep writing!
Peace,
Ulli
