Jun 05, 2008Wow, you nailed this one. The whole idea I relate to. I would like to hear this one again and again. Good job.

Jun 07, 2008Don't particularly care for this one. I went and listend to three of your other songs and I like them better. You seemed more energized, and they were slow songs. This one wanders to much within the melody and it seems as if you are overly dramtic. The song has a lathargic feel to it. I believe you do more justice to you songs when you just belt them out and drop any theatrics. Your voice is adequate and you don't need much more beyond that. I understand the reason for stressing and focusing on certain lines, but this one is over done in that regard, for me. I enjoyed the lyrics and the idea behind the song. That said, I like some of your music. You at least try to give a decent performance. I find that far beyond what many others do on this site. There are several people on here that I normally listen to because I think they are making an honest effort to present their music. Don't stop writing and I won't stop listening..

Jun 07, 2008Tonight after we got back from performing at MON Latteland that Larry Garrett hosts my husband and I received the email from David Hakan about the posting of our last songpull being up on this site. When I came to see my video for the first time I was absolutely overwhelmed. So many folks have seen my video and I hadn't yet! Honestly, it is very difficult to do a brand new song for the first time, and if you are like me, as another songwriter, you definitely understand. It is hard enough to perform it in any kind of professional way, but to have it recorded too is taking it up a whole new notch. I appreciate Song Pull, but am humbled greatly each time I visit the site. I also appreciate the candid comments about my performance of this song. All I can say is "thank you". It is all a work in progress. Each time I complete a Songpull performance it is still another brave thing I have done. Sharing my heart and soul with everyone. I am grateful for your listening. Humbly yours, rkj
