Dan requests permission to play at his eighth Songpull, even though, he says he can "barely" play the guitar. He gathers a song that he recently wrote about a friend's mother that had died.

About the Songwriter

My name is Dan Fritz. I've been involved in music for most of my life, but some of my more significant accomplishments have been Johnny Q Public and Songpull.com. I was the lead singer for JQP and enjoyed nominal success and was even featured on MTV's 120 minutes way back in the day with a song called Body Be. Songpull.com is my newest venture. Fritz and His Cowboy Outfit is my first solo attempt since the JQP days. I love writing and performing. I plan on using some of my Songpull songs for new Fritz and His Cowboy Outfit future endeavors.
