About the Song

The inspiration for the song State of Mind came from an old job I had. I spent YEARS having to listen to people talk down to me and give me the do as I say not as do speech. I became numb to the point that when they spoke to me all I could hear were my thoughts. It was hard but writing helped me through those times...Things are wonderful now I made it through!!
