Im so impressed!
I remember hearing you play guitar when you would come over to the house to hang with Hannah, but I don't think I ever heard you sing. SO good.
Purity is lost from music these days.

About the Song

Last spring I visited California with friends and upon my return to Texas (my temporary home for college) I began to deal with a well of discontentment concerning my life, location, etc… So, I wrote this song to express the dichotomy between my desire to move west and the fear that go along with that and my discontentment in Texas and my right to be happy here.

I am inspired by nature, opposites, my constant struggle for contentment, actual love, kind people, J.R.R. Tolkien, everything fantastical, heartfelt and unified. Music is it for me.
