Political songs at a political rally may be OK, but in a public setting it's questionable at best. This song has all the subtlety of a sledge hammer. The closing instrumental lead break was totally ego driven and did not fit or add anything to the song. I too was thankful it ended and hope I never hear it again.

D T, I agree. Also, the good times ended when this song began. This particular songwriter has too much ability to waste it on so many negative songs.

The sky is falling. The sky is falling. This individual must be a pretty sad person.

Very lathargic. Needs some speed to it before it puts the listener to sleep. Oh and get rid of the hat. You are obviously not a messenger of good will and joy. Cry and whine songs are not easy to listen to, especially when you are both whining in order to sing. Are you ever upbeat? Nothing wrong with your style and ability, but the content is always morose.

About the Song

This song is cowritten with James Mattingly. A Thanksgiving song that gives thanks for somethings we have, while being glad for some things we don't have.

About the Songwriter

I wrote songs back in the eighties with rock and roll bands. Then I got married and had kids. Fifteen years later, I started writing again. This time much of my writing is designed to make a difference in the world by making people think about others who are less fortunate, and move people in a progressive direction, as well as inspire progressive people to get involved in making the world a better place for everyone. Along the way if I can inspire other songwriters to join me in this effort, that's a bonus. Together we can make a difference.
