About the Song
I began to feel the Seasonal Affective Syndrom closing in after two weeks of cloudy, cold weather. I tried to channel Jeff Black for this song that is darker than most of my other ramblings.
About the Songwriter
I have been hosting new song nights for songwriters since January of 1993 with the Songwriters Circle of Kansas City. I have formed a duo with the talented Lezlie Revelle. We call ourselves “Street Corner Choir”. It has made music fresh and exciting again. I spend too much time editing these videos, but it is so much fun to see the end product up on the web getting watched, listened to and commented on.

Feb 05, 2008Good, but i like your rain song better. Not picking on this one, but the rain song is really fine.

Nov 30, 2008Good tune but JEEEEEZ, what's with reading the lyrics off the music stand? You wrote the lyrics, right? MEMORIZE THEM SUMBUX!
Secondly, are you aware how your hand keeps hitting the guitar because of your choppy strum? Suggestion: rest your hand or float it completely, but for crying out loud stop coming on and off the guitar top - it's too noisy! I personally would can that strum style and try some crosspicking. It would go much better with your harp playing.
Third - that is some GREAT harmonica! Love your melodic form, and the beautiful flow you got going there.
