About the Song
My best friend’s mother passed away in November. He asked me to sing at her memorial service. Unable to find the right song, I wrote this one. Turns out, it also works as a Thanksgiving song. It is the first song I ever wrote using a banjo. As a matter of fact, it is the first song I ever played on the banjo.
