About the Song
My husband and I have been going through a pretty tough time this last year. People meant well but they kept trying to tell us what to do. We've made some decisions that we feel are best for our family and some people just don't understand. What we really wanted from people was their support. If they can't give us that - then they need to just leave us alone and not try to force their views onto us.
About the Songwriter
I'm 26 and I've been singing all my life. Right now I teach music classes at Southwestern University. I love that I'm able to invest into students' lives and encourage them to reach for their dreams. I plan on spending the rest of my life writing, recording and performing music.
