About the Song
Well, I signed up for the songpull, so the biggest inspiration to actually finish a song came from that. I've been trying to write a song a week this year, just to better myself. This particular song is kind of purposely vague, but could be about getting closer to something, someone, some goal, or whatever.
About the Songwriter
I'm in a band fulltime, minutestoufal, but don't write songs for the band. I've been writing solo stuff for about six years now without any real goal in mind. Other than that all you need to know is that I'm way too poppy and sappy. I have zero indy cred, because I showed up for Songpull in camo shorts I bought at target.
