Performed in Springfield, MO at Songpull 4
About the Song
After being in three previous Songpulls, Trevor interviews himself and explains that he's decided to step away from his own sound to pay tribute to the music of the old blues artists he was raised on. He admits the subject of his song is a touchy one and that he has drawn his inspiration from others heartache of loosing someone in a natural disaster. When the crowd realizes Trevor's inspiration is the blues, they react enthusiastically to his new sound and his brother Oran's spirited guitar playing.
