Performed in Springfield, MO at Songpull 4
About the Song
Sitting by himself with the camera, having written his song the night before the songpull, Mead is inspired by country legend George Jones, "The Possum". He claims Songpull has given him goals, the main one being having a song better than Trevor Thornton, which he claims he's done at every songpull. He hopes to learn how to play the guitar in the process.
About the Songwriter
Mead Price was once the other half of the world famous Fiddlin Twins from Miami, Ok. Well, maybe not world famous, but he and his brother Mark Price (also a Songpuller) did perform regularly at the Grand Lake Opry. Mead is one of the original 7 performers that made up the first Songpull group ever in Springfield, Mo. Now he resides in Kansas City, Mo. and has started his own business, Pier Magic, a foundation repair company. You may know Mead from Songpull, because of his smash Songpull hit, Rings on the Table.

Dec 28, 2007Very funny story here....Mead was so proud of this song and after Songpull 3's "Can't Make You Love Me", thought he had found a niche writing quirky songs with double meanings. Although this is really a great song, Mead didn't find out until about an hour before he performed that Alan Jackson already had a hit with the same concept.
