Performed in Kansas City, MO at Songpull 5
About the Song
This is a major revision of a February Songpull song. Only 4 lines were left intact. It is now about a guy who is quitting his job to freelance so he can spend more time with his wife.
About the Songwriter
I have been hosting new song nights for songwriters since January of 1993 with the Songwriters Circle of KC. We celebrate 15 years for the Circle in October of 2007. I figure it was our 178th new song night. We have probably outlasted about 10 coffeehouses where we used to perform. I am working on getting a strong set of songs for my sixth CD this year.
