About the Song
May song challenge, also, the ceaseless redevelopment of places that used to mean something to me.
About the Songwriter
I have been writing songs and plays since the 80s, when I was commissioned by the City of KCMO to write and produce five children's musicals. In 2000, Radio Free Cowtown, which was commissioned by the KC-150 Celebration, was broadcast on KCUR. I was songwriter (8 new songs), music director and co-author. The Wilders were the studio band for RFC. I was lyricist and co-author of Deus Ex Microsoft, which won an award in the National Audio Theatre Festivals' national scriptwriting competition and published in NATF's Script Book (2003). My verse drama The Transfiguration of Mary M was recognized by the 2006 National Audio Theatre Festival and published in NATF’s 2006 Script Book.
