About the Song
This song looks at our current problems through the eyes of Woody Guthrie, and imbues some mystical power to him. I would like any songwriter to add verses to this song in the true folk process. I have just scratched the surface.
About the Songwriter
I have been hosting new song nights for songwriters since January of 1993 with the Songwriters Circle of Kansas City. I have formed a duo with the talented Lezlie Revelle. We call ourselves “Street Corner Choir”. It has made music fresh and exciting again. I spend too much time editing these videos, but it is so much fun to see the end product up on the web getting watched, listened to and commented on.
