This was an Al Gore song when it was written. It's unfortunate that these don't have the date of the recording on it. This song was written in March of 2007, which puts it in context. At that time, there was still much hope that Al would have gotten in the race. I did later change a few words and made it an Obama song. Just add hope in a few places. :-)

About the Songwriter

I wrote songs back in the eighties with rock and roll bands. Then I got married and had kids. Fifteen years later, I started writing again. This time much of my writing is designed to make a difference in the world by making people think about others who are less fortunate, and move people in a progressive direction, as well as inspire progressive people to get involved in making the world a better place for everyone.
