Performed in Kansas City, MO at Songpull 1
About the Song
Written after a low time in his life, Paul sings about a really good day after a string of bad ones. Paul continues to describe the reason he drinks and why he decided to host a Songpull.
About the Songwriter
Paul was born in Springfield, MO but raised in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and Kansas City, MO where he currently lives. Paul likes to consider himself a country boy, spending his elementary years in the creeks and woods of rural Texas. He attributes his passion for music to many evenings listening to his dad play and sing country/folk tunes from the likes of Johnny Cash and Meryl Haggard on a raggedy old flat top acoustic. Through his late teens and early twenties Paul played guitar in a band, recorded a couple EP's and toured a little. Now at 28 Paul is married with a 2 year old son and is working for "the man" as a commercial real estate broker. Paul is also in the process of writing and rehearsing music with his new band which still remains nameless and hopes to be playing shows in the Springfield/Kansas City areas very soon."
