After 2 listens I still can't decide if I really like the song. Not being one who dabbles in the smokin' of canabus, but a lover of good ol' country twang..I really want to enjoy the song but I guess the subject matter is just not right for me. On a positive note, you really have a nice voice and decent guitar picking skills...also it seemed like you had a nice little fan base doing backup vocals which is fun in this setting. I enjoyed aspects of the performance. Guess just not much of a fan of goofy novelty pot songs.

I understand Aaron's hestency on the subject matter, but overall I really like the song. I think the performance is pretty good and the lyrics are smart and concise.

Love this song, but i'm looking for another one that was on the movie "Super High Me" it played towards the end during a DEA raid. Here are some lyrics:

Please dont tear me down. I'm just now standing up.
Made some big mistakes. I wanna get fucked up
Just Like i used to do with my daddy president
I will break all the rules, oh i will have no regrets
'cause i am president now. who would believe it
A dumb little boy who never achiev-ed
politics and fame
fame and disaster
lets go to war
i'll show you the master
oh these puppet strings are hard to break

Novelty songs are a dime a dozen. The subject doesn't bother me. I just don't think novelty songs are that interesting.
