I don't know why, but if you watch my interview on this Songpull (Daniel Fritz), I think I say that I expected Oran's song to be the worst one of the night. I was mostly kidding about that, but Oran had been telling the entire week prior that he doesn't have anything worth playing and was all down-in-the-mouth about it. So, I just figured he would have the worst song?...Wow, no quite. According to him this is only the second song that he's ever written by himself...he's done alot of co-writing, but not a lot alone. Knowing some things about what Oran was going thru at that particular time in his life, sheds incredible light on how great this song is and how when someone writes the truth about themselves? that truth finds a way of effecting other people who haven't lived it at all. Great great great sophmore song.
