Nov 24, 2008Al, running up your own counters and leaving yourself comments just to stay on the hotlist really defeats the whole purpose of a site like this. (not to mention the fact that it's really not fair to the rest of us)
The purpose for these hotlists is to see how peers respond to our songs. They're not intended to be soapbox platforms for self-absorbed writers. Sorry for the harsh words, but give it a rest. the songpull site doesn't get much traffic to begin with. When you run up your counters into the hundreds or thousands per day it becomes extremely obvious that the traffic is not real traffic.
