About the Song

While sitting in a waiting room at a VA hospital, I saw several vets who wee having a hard time of it. I thought about my father & all of my WWII, Korean and Vietnam veteran friends. Then I made a basic persona of a veteran who was honorable, yet still had a rough life.

About the Songwriter

I am from N.J. originally and started playing guitar at 11 years old. Formed a High School rock band “The Offrats” in 1963. Have played in several Blues/Rock bands. Guitar and Song are my major preoccupations.
