Mar 14, 2008After 2 listens I still can't decide if I really like the song. Not being one who dabbles in the smokin' of canabus, but a lover of good ol' country twang..I really want to enjoy the song but I guess the subject matter is just not right for me. On a positive note, you really have a nice voice and decent guitar picking skills...also it seemed like you had a nice little fan base doing backup vocals which is fun in this setting. I enjoyed aspects of the performance. Guess just not much of a fan of goofy novelty pot songs.

Apr 19, 2008I understand Aaron's hestency on the subject matter, but overall I really like the song. I think the performance is pretty good and the lyrics are smart and concise.

Apr 23, 2008Love this song, but i'm looking for another one that was on the movie "Super High Me" it played towards the end during a DEA raid. Here are some lyrics:
Please dont tear me down. I'm just now standing up.
Made some big mistakes. I wanna get fucked up
Just Like i used to do with my daddy president
I will break all the rules, oh i will have no regrets
'cause i am president now. who would believe it
A dumb little boy who never achiev-ed
politics and fame
fame and disaster
lets go to war
i'll show you the master
oh these puppet strings are hard to break

May 04, 2008Novelty songs are a dime a dozen. The subject doesn't bother me. I just don't think novelty songs are that interesting.

Oct 14, 2008Younguns: This song is a remake of a song that was written in 1959 called "I've Been Everywhere, Man". It was made popular by Lucky Starr in 1962, and was covered by many musicians including Johnny Cash, Hank Snow, Lynn Anderson, Willie Nelson, etc., etc...
There are many versions, listing various places. The Johnny Cash (North American) version is listed below:
"I've Been Everywhere"
I was totin' my pack along the long dusty Winnemucca road,
When along came a semi with a high an' canvas-covered load.
"If you're goin' to Winnemucca, Mack, with me you can ride."
And so I climbed into the cab and then I settled down inside.
He asked me if I'd seen a road with so much dust and sand.
And I said, "Listen, I've traveled every road in this here land!"
[Chorus:]
I've been everywhere, man.
I've been everywhere, man.
Crossed the desert's bare, man.
I've breathed the mountain air, man.
Of travel I've had my share, man.
I've been everywhere.
I've been to:

Buffalo, Toronto, Winslow, Sarasota,
